The analytics tab is our home page and where you can explore the categorized feedback to get insights that will support decision-making. To access this view, click on the "Analytics" tab icon located in the side menu. Here is all you need to know about it.

Core elements

The analytics tab works with pre-set data visualization to help you run analyses and discover patterns. You will quickly measure the universe of feedback you are filtering through some key metrics.

The data shown here is instantly available once you upload data, based on Birdie's models that extract and classify sentiment, feedback intention, and more. Others will only be populated after you categorize your data.

1. Total feedback analyzed

It's the summary of the total number of feedback processed according to the filter rules. The chart also shows you a comparison of the previous timeframe according to what is applied.

💡Pro tip: Remember to use the filters to run specific analyses. By default, when no filter is applied, the count shows the amount of feedback ingested in the past 30 days.

2. Emerging Topics

These are the topics that show the higher percentage of volume change in the period you are analyzing vs the previous period, this way you never lose emerging topics that might be relevant in the future.

3. Issue and Request

Based on the automatically generated classification, the Feedback Intention categorizes feedback pieces according to their intention into 4 main categories: Compliment, Issue, Request, and Question.

The analytics tab will show you by default the two most relevant intentions: Issues and Requests.

4. Feedback Over Time

Graphic trendline of the feedback with options to change the unit of measure, the timeframe, and if it's absolute volume or percentage.

5. Expanding the Topics

By clicking on the topics shown on Emerging Topics, Top Issues, or Top Requests you can expand and see the details of the topics through their main metrics, a summary, relevant trends, and specific feedback.

6. Ask Amy

Lastly, you have direct access to Amy our chat assistant from the Analytics tab so if you want to understand more about the feedback you can see related feedback or open the assistant, remember to apply the relevant filters you need first, otherwise, it will load by default everything you have in the past 30 days.
